Description
A wooden bug I made in sculpture 2. All designed and built by myself. it is almost fully articulated. It's mandibles move, the wings turn, the legs bend, even the tail is a very impressive feat of articulate engineering.
It is designed after a real life bug (a dobsonfly) and is still unfinished white pine (I may just seal it and keep the natural color). There are also no screws of any kind, only wooden pegs a wood glue is certain places.
These two views aren't that great in way of photography, but I plan to have a better version up soon.
